Invincible Marketer Review:
My Honest Experience With Aaron Chen’s Affiliate Training
I’m currently going through “Invincible Marketer” Aaron Chen’s step-by-step affiliate marketing course and I wanted to write down my honest take while I’m still in it, not after the fact, when it’s easy to smooth over the parts that were actually hard.
This isn’t a “here’s why you should buy this” post. It’s what the program actually contains, what it costs, what’s genuinely good about it and what I’ve personally found difficult.
What Invincible Marketer is
It’s an “over the shoulder” style course built for people with little or no experience generating sales online. The pitch is straight forward follow the program from start to finish in order and you come out the other side able to make your first affiliate commission and keep building from there.
What’s actually included:
- Video lessons, structured step by step rather than dumped in one library to figure out on your own
- A community of other students going through the same material
- 1-on-1 coaching – direct access to guidance rather than just pre-recorded content
- Assignments after each stage, so you’re not just watching, you’re doing
- Templates for the pages, emails, and content you need to actually launch
What it costs
$67/month gets you into the core program. There’s also an upgraded package for people who want to move faster or get more direct support – I haven’t taken that tier, so I can’t speak to it firsthand.
One thing worth knowing upfront like most affiliate training programs, the course itself doesn’t include the tools you’ll need to actually execute – page builders and email marketing software are separate costs on top of the subscription. Budget for that before you commit, so the real cost doesn’t surprise you a month in.
What’s genuinely good about it
The thing that’s stood out most to me is that the structure doesn’t let you skip ahead. You go through the program in the order it’s built, stage by stage, which sounds restrictive until you realize that’s exactly what most beginners need. Affiliate marketing has an enormous amount of surface area – traffic, content, email, tech setup, product selection and it’s easy to bounce between all of it and finish none of it. Being made to follow one sequence to completion is in my experience so far, the actual value of the program more than any single lesson inside it.
The other thing I’ve noticed is that the coaching genuinely feels oriented toward you finishing and succeeding, not just toward you staying subscribed. That distinction matters more than it sounds – a lot of paid training feels optimized for engagement rather than outcomes.
What’s actually been hard
The honest answer is recording video of myself and putting it out to promote things. That’s the part of the program that’s pushed me furthest outside my comfort zone, more than any of the technical setup or content planning. If you’re naturally camera-shy, know going in that this is a skill the program expects you to build, not something you can route around.
I’d rather say that plainly than pretend every part of this has been easy, because a review that only lists positives isn’t a review you can trust.
Who this is actually for
Based on what I’ve seen so far, this fits best if…
- You’re starting from close to zero and want a defined sequence rather than a pile of resources to self-organize
- You want accountability and direct coaching, not just video access
- You’re willing to show up on camera at some point, because the program pushes toward that
It’s probably not the right fit if you already have a working affiliate content system and just need a specific skill filled in – the value here is in the structure, not in isolated tactics.
My take, for now
I’m still in the middle of this program, so this isn’t a “verdict” post, it’s a progress report. What I can say honestly is the structure and the coaching have been worth the monthly cost so far and the hardest part hasn’t been the material, it’s been doing the uncomfortable thing (showing my face on video) that the material asks of me.
I’ll follow up once I’m further along, including what my actual results look like – not just what the course promises.
